Story Highlights No details but doesn't sound life-threatening His dance card remains full

Dustin Hoffman has been treated for cancer and has come out of it OK, reportsPeopletoday.

There are precious few details but his rep, Jodi Gottlieb, says Hoffman, 75, is doing well now. Gottlieb confirmed People's story.

"It was detected early and he has been surgically cured," she told the magazine. "Dustin is feeling great and is in good health."

Hoffman, a two-time Oscar winner, will undergo treatment to prevent a recurrence, as is typical in most cancer surgeries.

Meanwhile, he's been busy. He's been promoting his latest movie, Quartet, which marked his directorial debut and featured a clutch of major British stars such as Maggie Smith.

And he has three other films roles either wrapping up or in production into 2014.
